Vacationland Entertainment Team

Will is the head of Vacationland Entertainment. He has been with the convention since it started in 2015 as Bangor Comic & Toy Con. He started by running the Friday night live and learning under Chris. He purchased  BCTC in 2019 and with later co-owner Jay Cochran, started Maine Comic & Toy Con (MCTC) in 2023. In 2024, Will with his friends Chuck and Bobby, started Bangor Anime (it ran its first year as Going Merry Con). He is very excited about the team and the journey ahead for Vacationland Entertainment.

Jay has been with the con since 2015 as well. He has done a number of different jobs for the con. From running the Q&A panels, to helping manage the convention floor. Jay has taken on a bigger role every year. In 2020, Jay joined Will as a co-owner to help further expand what is now Vacationland Entertainment. Jay’s artistry and attention to detail makes him the best person to also handle all the graphics for the conventions.

Chuck joined the team in 2022 as a guest handler and was quick to offer extra help outside of the con itself. In 2023, he was brought in as a partner and helps with anything administrative, as well as web-based aspects of the conventions. He also handles the travel coordination to bring our amazing celebrity guests to Maine!!!

Miki started volunteering with BCTC in 2021 as a guest handler and quickly moved into the Vendor Relations Manager position where her organizational skills have come in handy to manage the ever increasing numbers of vendors who come to our events. She was brought in as partner in 2024 and continues with Vendor Relations as well as ensuring the conventions run as smoothly as possible in any way she assist.

John has been with us since the start of BCTC. John has been a staple in making each convention a success by giving up every weekend and 24/7 to the con. He has filled in for a number of positions from Q&A, guest relations, and floor staff. It was no surprise when John took over as the floor manager and has excelled in this role, helping make Vacationland Entertainment what it is today.

Allen has been a long time convention attendee and friend of the convention. With the con expanding and bringing in new positions we knew Allen was the perfect fit to handle running our security team and overseeing the safety of the convention. Allen is a Navy veteran who fit all the qualifications we were looking for and more. Please reach out at the convention if you need anything.

Donnie is a great friend of the convention and brings his years of experience with the Marine Corps and Maine State Police as an integral addition to security & safety at the conventions. He has been with us since 2021.
